Tram Accident Causes Drama at Missouri Theater

As anyone who’s ever been to a theme park can attest, the biggest problem you might expect when boarding the tram for a ride from the parking lot to the park is remembering which section you parked in-- so you can find your car at the end of the day.

But a handful of tourists from Kansas and Oklahoma who were visiting the Shepherd of the Hills outdoor theater got a little more drama than they likely expected in a Missouri automobile accident involving the passenger tram and the vehicle pulling it.

Reportedly, four women were traveling downhill on a 24-passenger tram, being pulled buy a jeep, when it “started skidding and ran off the roadway before striking a wooden fence and a tree.”  According to authorities, “the brakes locked up”. After the accident, up to four women with minor to moderate personal injuries were reportedly transported to the hospital.
